QAM Teachers Participate in Qatar Sustainability Week at Green Island
During Qatar Sustainability Week 2024, teachers from Qatar Foundation, including those from Qatar Academy Msheireb, visited Green Island
to explore innovative approaches to sustainability. This educational trip provided teachers with firsthand insights into sustainable practices
and methods to link these concepts directly with student projects. The teachers learned about various eco-friendly initiatives implemented on
the island, which sparked ideas on how to integrate real-world environmental solutions into their curriculum. This visit emphasized the
importance of hands-on learning and showed how sustainability can be woven into students’ daily learning experiences. By connecting classroom
activities with tangible sustainability practices, QAM teachers aim to inspire students to think critically about environmental challenges and
equip them with the knowledge to make a positive impact on their communities and the world.
