Ms. Lina F. Mouchantaf became the Director of Qatar Academy Msheireb in August 2024, bringing over 30 years of educational experience to the school. Originally from Lebanon, Lina holds a Master’s degree in Science Education from the Lebanese University, along with a Master’s degree in Educational Management from Balamand University. As a seasoned international educator, Lina has held several leadership roles across diverse educational institutions. Prior to joining Qatar Academy Msheireb, she served as Director of Qatar Academy Al Khor from 2021, successfully leading a school that catered to students from Pre-3 to Grade 12. Lina has a strong background in International Baccalaureate (IB) programs, with extensive experience as an IB workshop leader, evaluation and programme leader, and consultant. She has also served as a field representative for the IB and as Chair of synchronized visits between the IB and the Council of International Schools (CIS). Her expertise includes curriculum development, professional development, and educational leadership. Lina has played key roles in school accreditation processes, including those of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and CIS. Her leadership philosophy centers on creating dynamic learning environments that foster student growth, academic achievement, and social-emotional well-being. She also considers that teaching and teachers are at the core of a successful learning organization and puts the same emphasis on adult learning including parents’ and the community. As a strong advocate for continuous learning, Lina believes in the power of education to drive societal change and foster a more empathetic world. She brings to Qatar Academy Msheireb her passion for education, international experience, and a vision for creating joyful and inspiring environments where students are challenged to excel academically and socially, while honoring their local cultural roots.

As the Chief Executive Officer of Msheireb Properties, Eng. Ali Al Kuwari leads the management teams at Msheireb Properties’ main entities and other subsidiaries, including but not limited to Msheireb Downtown Doha and Zulal Wellness Resort.

Eng Al Kuwari played a crucial role in the development of Msheireb Downtown Doha. In the beginning, he served as the Chief Officer for the Design and Delivery Directorate of the Msheireb Downtown Project. Due to his effective leadership and direction during the construction stages, Eng. Al Kuwari was appointed as the Acting CEO to oversee the transition from construction to operation of the city. He was recognized for his outstanding leadership skills and was subsequently appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Msheireb Properties in January 2023.

Eng Al Kuwari was instrumental in leading and overseeing the launch and operations of major assets at Msheireb Downtown Doha, including the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Al Wadi Hotel M Gallery, Park Hyatt, and the Zulal Wellness Resort, developed by Msheireb Properties. During the esteemed FIFA World Cup 2022 held in Qatar, Eng Al Kuwari deftly directed the activation and seamless operation of various events in the Msheireb Downtown Doha, including the hosting of the official FIFA media center.

Prior to his involvement with Qatar Foundation and Msheireb Properties, Eng. Al Kuwari held senior management positions at Technip in Paris and Qatar Petroleum. During his tenure at Qatar Petroleum, he excelled and became the Acting Lead Cost/Planning Engineer. His proficiency in this role enabled him to successfully oversee various major construction projects across Qatar.

Eng Al Kuwari holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the prestigious University of Miami and has earned an Executive MBA from HEC Paris in Qatar.

Dr. Mohammed Yousef Al-Mulla has served as the Managing Director and CEO of Qatar Petrochemical Company (QAPCO), Qatofin Company Limited since 2007, and Qatar Vinyl Company Limited (QVC) since 2017, driving their growth and positioning them as a global leader in petrochemical production. His leadership has been instrumental in implementing strategies that have enhanced efficiency, productivity, and global reach, leading to significant growth and success for QAPCO, Qatofin and QVC.   Dr. Al-Mulla's extensive involvement in the energy sector extends to serving on the boards of other companies and industry associations. He is a Member of the Board of Directors of a number of Energy sector companies including Industries Qatar (IQ), Ras Laffan Olefins Company Limited (RLOC), Gulf International Service (GIS). He is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gulf Helicopter (GHC), Qatar Plastic Products Company (QPPC). In addition, QAPCO is one of the founding members of the Gulf Petrochemicals & Chemicals Association (GPCA) in which Dr. Al-Mulla is the Vice Chairman of the Board of Director.   Furthermore, Dr. Al-Mulla's academic achievements, lastly being a PhD in Engineering from UK, instilled his unwavering commitment to education and research thereby partaking in the enrichment of Qatar's education sector, by emphasizing innovation as a catalyst for growth. His vision and leadership have played a pivotal role in expanding educational opportunities and fostering collaboration between academia and industry. Dr. Al-Mulla serves on multiple boards of directors’ chair holding the position of Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees at the University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) and serves as the Chair of the College of Engineering’s Advisory Board at Qatar University. Additionally, he is a member of Texas A&M University Deans Development Council, Hamad Bin Khalifa University’s (HBKU) Industry and Government Advisory Board (IGAB), and member of AFG College and University of Aberdeen in Doha, and he was a member of the Research committee within the Qatar National Research Fund under Qatar Foundation (QNRF). He was also appointed as a member of the Qatar Academy – Msheireb Board.   Dr. Al-Mulla's enduring dedication to excellence in both professional and educational realms has positioned him as a respected leader and innovator, shaping the landscape of the petrochemical industry and education sector in Qatar and beyond.

Sheikha Noof Ahmed Al-Thani is the Vice President, Strategic Educational Initiatives at the Pre-University Education office at Qatar Foundation. She joined Qatar Foundation in 2007 where she co-founded four QF schools: Qatar Academy Al-Khor, Qatar Academy Al-Wakra, Qatar Academy Sidra, Qatar Academy Msheireb as well as the expansion of The Learning Center to Awsaj Academy. She is also the co-founder of the PUE Office and founder of the Education Development Institute (EDI) at Qatar Foundation.   She works with leading global and local partners to bring and to share Qatar Foundation’s high impact innovation in education to Qatar and the region. She started her career as a teacher and teacher trainer in 1994 and is the recipient of multiple regional and local educational excellence awards. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Qatar University and Executive Masters in Business Administration from HEC Paris.

Ms. Fatima Sultan Al Kuwari is the Group Chief Human Resources and Sustainability Officer at Ooredoo, leading the company’s global HR transformation since 2021 and the ESG agenda since 2024. She also serves as Chairperson of Ooredoo Maldives and was the first woman appointed to the Board of Ooredoo Kuwait. With over 19 years of experience, Fatima has held senior roles across marketing, digital transformation, and commercial strategy, including Chief Consumer Officer at Ooredoo Qatar and Acting Group Chief Commercial Officer. She is a passionate advocate for innovation, sustainability, and female leadership, and is active as a public speaker, mentor, and angel investor. Fatima holds a BSc in Computer Science from Qatar University, an Executive Master’s in Leadership from Georgetown University, and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Liverpool.

Mr. Mohammed Saad Al Rumaihi has been the Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Museums since June 2023. He has a profound passion for culture and its strategic development in support of Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani’s vision. Mr. Al Rumaihi has over 17 years of experience in program and strategy in senior roles across several industries including sports, media, culture, real estate, and education. He is highly skilled in organizational change and has achieved outstanding results using his unique leadership skills. His professional journey started with the Doha 2006 Asian Games Organizing Committee where he played a vital role in successfully planning and integrating events. From 2012 to 2014, he served as the Museums Development Manager at Msheireb Properties where he led the development, strategic direction, experience design, and activation of the four important historical sites located in the district. Subsequently, Mr. Al Rumaihi was the Director of Brand Marketing and Communication at Al Jazeera Media Network, during which time he successfully developed and executed the commercial and transformational strategy for the television network. Mr. Al Rumaihi later served at the Qatar Prime Minister’s Office on the Technical Committee for Stimulating Participation of the Private Sector in Economic Development Projects, in addition to holding the position of Director of Programs at the Qatar Leadership Center. From 2020 until his current role, Mr. Al Rumaihi notably served as one of the active members of the Supreme Committee preparing for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar. His functions included: Secretary of the Steering Committee for Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, Vice Chairman of the Strategic Advisory Office for Consultation and Follow-up for His Highness the Vice Chair of the Supreme Committee, and Chairman of the Hayya Platform Steering Committee. In these multiple roles, he contributed to the successful execution of the premier international event. Mr. Mohammed Saad Al Rumaihi holds a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from the University of Portsmouth and a master’s degree in business administration from Cardiff University.

Mr. Mohammed Ismail Al Emadi serves as the current CEO of Lesha Bank, bringing with him over sixteen years of extensive and diverse experience in the banking sector. Renowned in his field, Mohammed has honed his expertise across several banking areas, including corporate, retail, private, international, and investment banking.   Beyond his pivotal role as CEO, Mohammed’s leadership extends to his position as the Chairman of Oryx Corniche Developments QPJSC, where he continues to demonstrate his expansive leadership capabilities. Prior to joining Lesha Bank, Mohammed played a pivotal role as the Group Chief Business Officer at Masraf Al Rayan, where his exceptional leadership and invaluable contributions were instrumental. Mohammed’s deep understanding of the banking landscape allows him to effectively orchestrate a wide array of customer-centric products and services, driving business growth and making substantial contributions to the expansion of the national economy. Throughout his distinguished career, Mohammed has consistently showcased his unwavering commitment, exceptional leadership acumen, and an insightful understanding of the banking industry. His accomplishments and contributions have earned him a prestigious reputation as a highly respected and influential figure in the financial sector. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mohammed boasts a strong educational background. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Finance from George Washington University in Washington DC, further solidifying his financial acumen and strategic approach to business leadership.
