I started my career in the English Language Teaching Unit at Qatar University. In 2000, I joined the teaching domain in the local schools as an English teacher. By 2004, I was leading this teaching department as a coordinator, and in 2005 my achievements led to me being appointed as Principal then as Director.

I joined PUE in 2011 as a Project Manager and launched Qatar Academy Sidra. Over the following decade, I established the National Programs department and enhanced Qatar Foundation Schools strategies to empower student learning through a continuous curriculum improvement process. As Executive Director of Academic Affairs, I led the Teaching Learning Center and the Educational Development Institute, providing consultation services and professional development programs for the education community. More recently, as Executive Director of Qatar Foundation Schools, I managed operational aspects across all Qatar Foundation schools.

I hold an Executive MBA from in HEC Paris, with my research investigating differentiation and innovation in education services with the aim of maximizing added value. My experience and education demonstrate the necessary skills to implement the QF and Pre-University Education vision moving forward.

As the Chief Executive Officer of Msheireb Properties, Eng. Ali Al Kuwari leads the management teams at Msheireb Properties’ main entities and other subsidiaries, including but not limited to Msheireb Downtown Doha and Zulal Wellness Resort.

Eng Al Kuwari played a crucial role in the development of Msheireb Downtown Doha. In the beginning, he served as the Chief Officer for the Design and Delivery Directorate of the Msheireb Downtown Project. Due to his effective leadership and direction during the construction stages, Eng. Al Kuwari was appointed as the Acting CEO to oversee the transition from construction to operation of the city. He was recognized for his outstanding leadership skills and was subsequently appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Msheireb Properties in January 2023.

Eng Al Kuwari was instrumental in leading and overseeing the launch and operations of major assets at Msheireb Downtown Doha, including the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Al Wadi Hotel M Gallery, Park Hyatt, and the Zulal Wellness Resort, developed by Msheireb Properties. During the esteemed FIFA World Cup 2022 held in Qatar, Eng Al Kuwari deftly directed the activation and seamless operation of various events in the Msheireb Downtown Doha, including the hosting of the official FIFA media center.

Prior to his involvement with Qatar Foundation and Msheireb Properties, Eng. Al Kuwari held senior management positions at Technip in Paris and Qatar Petroleum. During his tenure at Qatar Petroleum, he excelled and became the Acting Lead Cost/Planning Engineer. His proficiency in this role enabled him to successfully oversee various major construction projects across Qatar.

Eng Al Kuwari holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the prestigious University of Miami and has earned an Executive MBA from HEC Paris in Qatar.

A seasoned, customer focused and results oriented professional with more than 25 years’ experience in managing & leading enabling functions with deep expertise in Human Resources, Procurement & Supply Chain, Building & Support Services and Operational Excellence.

Currently Mr. Kuwari is working in Ooredoo Qatar as the Chief Corporate Services Officer since 2011 & is responsible for ensuring Ooredoo’s business units are enabled in the most appropriate manner by meticulous management of Human Capital, Sourcing & Procurement and Facility & Support Services. Prior to this role, Mr. Kuwari was managing the Human Capital for Ooredoo Qatar and has held multiple leadership positions in the HR function.

Prior to joining Ooredoo, Mr. Kuwari worked in RasGas for more than 10 years. He has a BSc of Business Administration from the American University, Washington DC and has numerous leadership development certifications. Mr. Kuwari serves in multiple Boards including Ooredoo Oman.

Amna bint Abdulaziz Al Thani is the Acting Deputy CEO of Museums, Collections and Heritage Protection, as well as the Director of the National Museum of Qatar. Amna leads the museums from macro-level project planning to in-depth operational and strategic planning. She headed the steering committee and the community workshops that culminated in the development of the National Museum of Qatar. Amna has over nine years of experience in museum development. Amna earned an MSc in Sociology from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and English from Carnegie Mellon University.
