QAM Grade 5 Students Showcase Learning at PYP Exhibition

Qatar Academy Msheireb recently celebrated a significant academic milestone as Grade 5 students presented their PYP Exhibition — the culminating project of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme. The exhibition provided an opportunity for students to demonstrate the skills, knowledge, and learner attributes they have developed throughout their PYP journey.

Working in small groups, students conducted in-depth inquiries into topics of global significance, exploring issues related to environment, health, technology, culture, and social responsibility. Guided by their mentors and supported by extensive research, students created impressive displays that reflected their understanding and critical thinking.

The exhibition featured a variety of creative presentations, including research reports, multimedia displays, models, and interactive activities, all designed to engage visitors and showcase student learning. Families, staff, and guests were invited to tour the exhibition, engage with the students, and witness their confidence, communication skills, and sense of global citizenship.

The PYP Exhibition stands as a testament to Qatar Academy Msheireb’s commitment to nurturing inquiry-based learning and preparing students to be lifelong learners who contribute positively to their communities.
